Skatedeck Painting
This skatedeck illustration was painted with acrylic paint. The design takes inspiration from art nouveau style and a wave style. The woman has wave hair and a wave dress that turns into ocean waves. With detailed ornaments of flowers, and stroke details at the top of the skateboard. Classic art nouveau is mimicked with the woman being the center focus with thick outlines and a nature theme of flowers.
Dark outlines and simple blending are great representations of the art nouveau style.
Texture was created using thick acrylic paint to add interest and give detail to the waves.
The bodice is a transition point of the dress turning into ocean waves at the bottom.
