Yacht Graffiti
A full scale mural was created during this project. First a random word was selected (yacht). Then a tedious planning process was implemented. Starting with reference graffiti lettering, then creating a sketch based on the reference materials. Once the sketch was completed the colors were selected. The next step is spray painting the base doodle grid, which is how the design is transferred onto the wall. Then the spray painting process begins by working big to small. Check out the results!

The Process
The yacht lettering starts with looking at a page with reference sketches and styles. Then a pencil sketch is created in a similar style to the reference but in a unique way. After that a digital sketch is created to be transferred onto the wall. Finally a doodle grid is put on the wall in order to transfer the sketch to the larger wall.
